Some members have posted pictures of their pets here. Thank you for asking about the size of the image because oversize pictures can distort the page, "bog down" the server causing slow page loads and add greatly to the bandwidth used by the site. (The more bandwidth used, the more our already expensive monthly server fees rise!) We do ask that images be no larger than 300 x 300. If you have a lot of pictures, or feel the one you want to show is too large, then you could always post a link to the website they are hosted on. The Link & Image Posting Rules can be found in the Pool Rules category.

Open up the Full Posting Form then make sure your image is of the correct size, have it online with a URL address, then choose the second button to the right (the green 'landscape' image button) and insert the URL address. thusly: I hope this helps. Sherasi

Unfortunately you can't! An image needs to be on a website so that you can post the URL to display the image here.

There are several sites that provide free image and file hosting services. You can upload an image to one these and then put a hyperlink to the image address. Members then click on the hyperlink to see your picture. This offers the AP site a slight advantage in band width usage, also. See these cute kitty cat photosBut please ignore the ugly guy. Here are some other sites in a Google Search Result page: GoogleDwight
