Hey there...I'm just curious as to everyone's opinion of a new project I've started.

The project's goal is to accumulate 1,000,000 links. Do you think it can be done? If so, how long do you think it would take?

If you plan to get the links by having other people submit them, as it seems, I'd imagine it taking awhile, especially to get a lot of people to see it.

Google directory already has enough links for my taste, but I decided to give "The Million Link Project" a visit. And I was greeted by... 32 links.

If you click the link to add a site to their list, notice that it requests $1 (standard) or $2 (bold link) per link for inclusion. Quite frankly, it's a cheezy scheme to make someone a millionaire. Not impressed.
