I'm suddenly getting loads of spam sent giving sender's addresses as from "[name] @ aim"
How can I stop these messages? They all come to one of my subsidiary e-mail, user, names not the main name.

Yes Mozart,it is 'from' AOL. AIM is their own e-mail service. Spammers have found a way round any spam filter, by hitting on a username and either knowing or guessing that name is on the AIM service. It turns out that the only way to block these spam messages is to set AIM up so that only messages from people in my address book are shown. I didn't know that I was on the AIM service ! Evidently I'm only on it for this one, secondary, address;
