I am SICK of it!

For some reason, Sagus and I suddenly have been having slews of Pop-up ads! In fact they are causing "system failures" and causing work that I am working on to crash.

If I clear the cookies, will the pop-ups go away?

Pop-up stopper is out of the question because other programs I need won't work with them.

AND, we've got the ridiculous "search" bar/button on my top Internet Explorer bar that won't go away even after I change settings and lock the toolbar!

What the heck can I do short of formatting my HD once again!

You have been hit with adware. Here is how you can clean it off:

If you have sypybot s&d or ad-aware - update it and run a full scan.

If you do not have either of these programs, download Spybot S&D here: http://tinyurl.com/a9k2
After you download spybot, update it and then run a scan.

What title name is on that toolbar? should be a readme or a "Powered by"( or "Supplied by") name somewhere?(like on AP)will have a name like(Gator,Radiate.Hotbar.Xupiter ) Many many more

Another thing.. What sort of Operating system have you? Windows(95 98 XP ect.)

Thanks Guys, I managed to get rid of that task bar search thing (I found it under "remove program")

Now all I have to do is kick that darn pop-up generating program!

BTW, windows 98 is my operating system.
