good day; i used to compose an email using MS outlook, and writing my name or some other words wasn't a big deal...i used to write the first few letters n then the outlook gives me the option to choose it all... do u know how to set it up for some words i use so often. thanks
I believe that you're talking about the AutoComplete name suggesting tool.
On the Tools menu, click Options. On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options, and then click Advanced E-mail Options. Check the "Suggest names" while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields check box.
Please note, there are several different program version of Outlook (and Outlook Express) so if you don't see this exact pathway in your installation, try the Help menu and search for "AutoComplete" (without the quotes and written without a space as shown).
I hope this helps!

well to be frank it didn't help!!!im not talking about the naming auto completion,i was talking about some words that i don't bother to write all. for example when i write (best regards)i only write (best r)and outlook suggests the whole word for me, and i just press enter and here we go, the whole word is written down.
well i'll appreciate it if u help me on this..and thanks for the previous trial.
Are you using MS Word as your email message editor? (Outlook/Tools menu/Options command/ Mail Format tab) If so, then in Word you can turn that feature on or off from the "Insert" menu.
On the Insert menu, point to AutoText, and then click AutoText. Select or clear the Show AutoComplete suggestions check box.
If this isn't what you're looking for, I don't know of any other suggestions to make. Again, I'm basing this on Outlook version 2003 and I have no way of knowing what version that you're using.
