*In response to "(how do I insert the symbol?)"
£ (enlarged to be easier to see)
This site has a list of currency symbols, that you can copy/paste into here.
¥ (YEN SIGN)
Currency SymbolsIf you have MS Word, you can click the "Insert" menu, then the "Symbol" command.
Set the font to something like (normal text) or "Tahoma", then in the "Subset" window, scroll down to "Currency". Select your choice, then click "Insert".
If you want the symbol in your answer post here, just copy/paste it.
And, since we're on the subject, there are other ASCII symbols you can use, with your numeric keypad. (Note: The "NUM lock" key must be "on".)
Press and hold the "Alt" key, then type in the appropriate number in the numeric keypad. For example: Ö (Alt + 153) ê (Alt + 136) Ç (Alt + 128)
A list here: Look under Extended ASCII codesYou probably won't be able to make all of them work...depends on what fonts you have.
I hope this helps!
*I hope your question wasn't rhetorical!
