Hi All:
In regards to the disableing of "Right Click", I've read that this is an attempt to prevent the theft of code, to be used elsewhere.

As I was looking at the code for these pages I don't really understand what could be stolen for any nefarious purpose.

Maybe it has something to do with the JS used for the banner ads or ???
The only thing that I think might be neat to steal would be the FORM for the weather channel. but isn't that readly available to anyone that wants it from weather channel.

As I mentioned in the Beg. Section, this is not ment to be any criticism of KK, I'm just curious about the inner workings of web piracy.

Thanks, but I don't need any more "WORK-A ROUNDS"
(To date I've found 3 diff. ways view this, save it on my computer & put it on my site if I was so inclined.)

Curious & possibly nosey; (Byter)

"Whoopeee, PASTE Still works in the IMAGE Script" big grin

I'm also very curious about this.
Although it all comes together to be a very well designed site, I haven't seen anything revolutionary about the coding here, so I'm not sure what's being 'protected.'
As others have pointed out, there are work-arounds. Anyone who knew enough to use the code after looking at it would most likely know at least one of the work-arounds to view it.
So why bother?

Memo to KingKrimson: Your anti-right click code has zero effect on the Opera web browser. It is very nice to actually be able to open links in new windows! :D

JWooden:

On that note, I think I'll try Opera. I have no designs on any code except the ones that friends send me...none of which I see at AP. It sure gets frustrating because I can never remember NOT to right click.

But the first Time ised OPERA it said JAVA something or the other so right click won't work! Then it said U are doing something for the first time...! Then it finally worked!

But the text is too small! I see a zoom option but no text size options! Zoom is no good!

Thanks but the text style is no good anyway!

The Right Click should have never been dissabled in the first place! Here's why!

Or wouldn't the key to the left of the right Control key bring-up the same right click menu?
