1 14.5 oz. can whole, peeled tomatoes

2 cloves garlic

3/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves

3/4 tsp. dried basil leaves

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

1/4 tsp. brown sugar

1/4 tsp. onion powder

1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper

Instructions:

Mince garlic, blend with all other ingredients until relatively smooth. and crush the tomatoes by hand. (You don't want to end up with a tomato puree.)

Note: Do not store extra sauce in metal containers, especially bot aluminum. Plastic or glass is best.)
