2 cups canned tomatoes 1 onion, chopped Dash of cayenne pepper 1/8 tsp. cloves 1/8 tep. cinnamon 1 tbs. sugar 1/4 cup vinegar 2 tbs. chopped green pepper 1/2 tsp. salt
In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the tomatoes, onion, cayenne, cloves, cinnamon, sugar and vinegar. Simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour. Add the green papper and simmer 30 minutes more. Add salt. Chill before serving.
