1 1/2 cups dry red wine 375 mL 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 50 mL 1/2 cup olive oil 125 mL 1 small onion, diced 1 1 carrot, thinly sliced 1 1 bay leaf 1 1 tsp black peppercorns, crushed 5 mL
Combine all ingredients; whisk briskly before use.
Note: 10 mL = 2/3 tablespoon or about 2 teaspoons
50 mL = about 3-1/2or tablespoons or about 10 teaspoons
125 mL = 1/4 pint (4oz) or about 8 1/2 tablespoons
375 mL = about 1 1/2 cups or about 25 1/2 tablespoons
