Trevone	Posted Any hints on how to shorten the duration of large mouth ulcers. These occur when run down and very tired. Extra sleep and rest is not an option at the moment. Bonjela is being used to ease the pain, but does anyone have any other ideas? Any help appreciated.

Posted Hide Post When ever I have a sore throat I will rinse and gargle with warm salt water. It helps it to feel better and makes it heal faster. You might try that. Just put a spoonful of salt and put warm water in a rinse and spit. Do it tell the salt is all gone in the bottom of the cup you may have to add more water. When you get a chance I really suggest seeing a doctor about your mouth ulcers.

Silja Diamond Enthusiast	Posted Hide Post I find that gargling with water to which a few drops of tea-tree oil (a natural antiseptic) has been added, helps. You might also eat some garlicy food, or take garlic tablets- that is a natural anti-biotic and generally good for you.
