I heard, recently, that quinine may be effective for severe, night-time leg cramps. (My husband suffers from them.) Is quinine really that effective? If so, how does it work on the body to stop the cramping?
Thank you, Texan-in-exile! That was a help. I give my husband Potassium and vitamin C. It does lessen occurances of leg cramps, but I would like to see them gone altogether. So, I will add the magnesium to his supplements.
