I have a reoccurring infection of the cellulite! The doctors can't give any explanation does anyone have any alternative therapies to combat this disorder?

Where is your re-occuring cellulitis? Does it follow a pattern at all?

In my left leg by the ankle! The only noticeable patterns is that it's whenI come back from a holiday where I've slowed down! The other issue is it seems to happen after I've been on open fields! Considering an allergy connection is this possible?

I have one patient who has had recurring cellulites for years. It often recurs, especially in people with conditions such as a fungal infection or diabetes. Recurring infection in the legs can cause a condition called elephantiasis, with a gross enlargement of the skin and underlying tissues in the legs. There is no apparent reason sometimes for this condition, but small scratches, bug bites, simple injuries can cause exacerbation. For example, a person who gets this illness in their arms all the time can promote recurrence with nail biting. You get the picture? Try to avoid risk behaviors that may cause it. This may not stop it totally, but it will perhaps reduce it.

O.k thankyou! Unfortunately insects have always liked my blood and I suffer bug bites frequently any idea how to prevent this? Also my feet are prone to small cuts due to dry skin breaking any ideas how to prevent that?
I went for a blood test and the doctor said my blood sugar was 4.6 and I was Borderline diabetic. I have spoken to other diabetes sufferers and other health care professionals who have laughed and stated that is the higher end of normal blood sugar level!
It has left marks that won't go and my ankle is continuously slightly swollen.

That's a bummer, Shona. I don't have any answers for your cellulitis but here's something that might help with the bugs. They say if you tie a sheet of Bounce to your belt when you go outside the bugs will leave you alone. Hope this helps. Catty (who is also loved by bugs)
