This is another textbook exercise regarding verbs with stem changes in the preterite tense. Please tell me if there are any gramatical errors in this letter. (Most of it was provided by the textbook, so it should look pretty good. I only provided the forms of the verbs with stem changes in the preterite.) Thanks for your help!

Anoche fui a la fiesta de Ángela. Ella sugirió que llegáramos antes de la seis. Mi hermano Ricardo prefirió no ir porque no se sentía bien. Yo decidí ir con Gustavo. Él se vistió con un traje muy elegante.
Gustavo no sabía llegar, así que le pidió direcciones a un policía que estaba un esquina. El policía le repitió las direcciones varias veces pero como quiera nos perdimos.
Por fin llegamos. Ángela sirvió comida muy sabrosa: tortilla española y otras tapas. Todos los invitados se divirtieron mucho en la fiesta. Gustavo estaba tan cansado que ¡se durmió en la sofá! Los invitados se despidieron muy tarde. ¡Qué noche más divertida!

Verb forms look OK, a few other minor errors: las seis, se vistió de (not con), en una esquina, comoquiera is one word, el sofá (yes, it's masculine).
