I am not certain of the dictionaries to recommend for German and/or Italian, but since there have been no responses here, thought I'd post the info I do have.
The following URL brings you to a number of options for a wide variety of languages. They give descriptions of these dictionaries (online, CD as well as hard copy books). I hope this info is at least helpful for you in your decision. http://ah-ha.worldlanguage.com/ProductTypes/Dictionaries.htm Another place to look is at the following site: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/11572/ref%3Dbr%5Fdp%5F/102-5243284-0758549 here - you will have the ability to look at customer reviews on specific books. GOOD LUCK!!! |

I really recommend Larousse books and dictionaries. Berlitz also has good material.
I found a good translator at www.babylon.com. you can choose from many languages. Good luck! |
