Please tell me if I am using the conventions of Spanish correctly regaurding the use of the verbs "ser" and "estar." The rest of the sentences came from a textbook exercise. Thank you for your help!

1. Yo soy estudiante. Ahora estoy en la escuela.

2. Él es mi tío. Es profesor de matemáticas.

3. Ella es actriz. Está en California.

4. Yo soy del barrio Washington Heights que está en Nueva York.

5. ¡Son las cinco! ¿Dónde estan los niños?

6. Estoy muy preocupada. Tengo un examen.

7. Los niños estan tristes. Su perrito está enfermo.

8. Tú eres simpático. Siempre estas de buen humor.
