I know that there is a way to add accent marks and inverted question marks and exclamation points and the tilda over the n. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Dear dcamp:

Perhaps the easiest way is to use the "Alt" key with the Numeric Keypad. The "NUM lock" must be "ON".

Look at the extended ASCII code list

Press and hold the "Alt" key while typing in the numbers for the symbol you want. For instance, press "Alt" and type 130 for é, 168 = ¿ and so forth. To make this easier, you can print out the page and have it next to your keyboard for quick reference.

If you have Microsoft Word, you can use the "Insert" menu, then click "Symbol". Chose a font like "Tahoma", then use "Subset" option box to find the symbol you want.

Another way on a Windows computer:

Click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Character Map

Select the character you want and copy/paste it into your document. You can use the "Select" button and copy several into your document, then copy/paste them into the text lines when you need them.

You can make a desktop "shortcut" to the "Character Map" by right clicking on it and choosing "Send to" / Desktop (create shortcut).

If you don't find the "Character Map" program, you can add it by clicking Start/Settings/Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs.

Click the Windows Setup tab, then System Tools. Click the "Details" button and check "Character Map". Click "OK" and the program will be installed.

I hope this helps!

Dwight
