succeed - successio - succeeding, succession, descent, descendant
Work hard - evigilio - to awaken, be alert, be watchful, work hard at never quit - nunquam defungo - never to discharge one's duties I suspect that these aren't exactly what you want. Note that "succeed" is a verb, but the responses I got were nouns. The Latin noun is likely to be similar to the verb. If JuanRuiz sees this, he will be able to do a far better job translating. I got these through InterTran. |

DG, "Work hard" could also be "Percutio- Percussum"
"to succeed" could be: "ualeo" to be able to,to succeed in (doing something). Sorry, I can't copy and paste my source in here. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Mozart, |
