What colour is the planet Mars ?

Often called the red Planet , Mars in fact would be pink.

Yes (I have 'pinky brown' or 'butterscotch' and other variants but whatever it is, it isn't red). The red appearance of the planet as seen from Earth is an effect produced by dust in the Martian atmosphere.
