Sartorius

(sartorius is Latin for tailor). It's a long, ribbon-like muscle that "slants across the front of the upper thigh from the side to the middle and then descends vertically to the knee," flexing, rotating, and abducting along the way to enable the cross-legged sitting posture that is known as the "tailor's position.
