I hope I've done this correctly!

Based on a landing time of 16:18 Eastern Daylight Time (UTC minus four hours), I get a lunar standard time of approximately 6:44.

No, not what I have. You are right when you say " landing time of 16:18 Eastern Daylight Time" A little tricky here. Smile

Well, were I the first landing I would establish the time as 00:00 hours, starting the clock from my landing time. (But then again, I am a vainglorious fool).

Incorporating a little of dogspit's thought with the lunar clock, is it perhaps 6:44 before 00:00:00 and 00/00/00?

Both right. Smile

Apollo 11 landed on the moon 20 July 1969 UT 20:17:40 (04:17:40 p.m. EDT)
This translates to -1-01-01 ∇ 06:44:55 LST

Sorry coldfuse .I should have accepted your answer, but at first I only had (as a source)the answer dogspit provided. After further research I discover that you were also right.
Besides your source is excellent.
