Thank you Kendor for your reply and your reference. I have a different answer though. Space.com

enters a speed up to 5000 MPH or 8,046 KPH at the poles, which is over twice as fast than your source refers to. Maybe a member on board who's science knowledge is less rusty than mine could help. Confused
