Hi Bedstor, Whitehaven is to be the first place in England to switch off their analogue signal to be replaced by a purely digital service. Digital LifestylesHmm..it says October 17 in the above article, and in Wikipedia. I take it some parts of that town were switched off early?

This page may make some sense of this changeover (scroll down to see schedule) The Selkirk transmitter has been the first to go based in Scotland then I Imagine 1 by the sub transmitters (those that cover sheltered reception areas)Its Very Hilly and theer will be quite a lot to reconfigure quote: Last quarter of 2008:
Selkirk transmitter, serving the Scottish Borders.
Second quarter of 2009:
Caldbeck transmitter, serving Dumfries & Galloway, Cumbria and the Isle of Man www.digitaluk.co.uk/en/when/border.htmlQuestion Who has drawn the lot to be switched off First in North America and Are there any Schedules to switch off Analog Nationwide Fully? or will it be retained in some areas?
