A friend has sent me a Word document containing several photos. I want to send each of these photos individually by e-mail so that the photos can be seen in the actual e-mail when you open it (not so that you have to download a file). Is this at all possible?

The only way to do this is by sending an HTML email. Much like posting an HTML response on AnswerPool, you would have to post a picture in the message by URL. This means that the picture would have to be uploaded to a web server somewhere, like Tripod or Geocities.

Also, most email programs like Yahoo or Hotmail allow you to see the image attachments at the bottom of the email and decide whether or not to download. Microsoft Outlook does not have this feature.
