Using outlook express6.0+winxp home edition-2users-2email accts+cable modem. For second time, Outlook express has vanished from 1 users profile.(can't find it-also tried to search hidden files)When we check email, OUTLOOK pops up as default(never use it) and OE opens as brand new - no mail account set up or anything. Had to set up again from scratch. Lost all emails and .wab files. Our ISP says they've never heard of this. Any suggestions??

Did you make any modifications to the particular user who lost the e-mail information?

You've searched for the missing files in c:\ (and sub-directories thereof)?

C:\Documents and Settings\Username

^ That should be the root for the user. Check in there, too.
