My emails are listed in the order of when they arrive. When I get emails from my sister who lives in a time zone that is 3 hours later than me - her email shows that it was sent 3 hours later and all other emails that I recieve after hers, are listed BEFORE hers.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I never had this problem before. It seems to have developed recently.

I went into tools and options, but can't seem to find anything that relates to this.

Confused

What program are you using to read your email?

Try this:
With Outlook Express open to the Inbox, click on the "Received" column header. That should change the sort order. Click it again change it back to the original setting.

Does that make any difference? If not, right click on the column header and choose "Columns" and then click "Reset". That will reset the columns displayed when Outlook Express was first installed.

I hope something here will help!

Another possibility, Tree, is simply to reset the system time and date in your Windows Control Panel, even if they are accurate.

My system had a hiccup recently and somehow set the year as 2150. That date showed up in Outlook Express as well. Normally the Inbox shows UK time, even when the email comes across the Atlantic.

It can't do any harm anyway!

THANKS, Dwight! I clicked on "sent" awhile back.... instead of "received" - That would probably do it! DUH!

I've since deleted my sister's email, so have to wait to get another from her to see if it works - but makes sense that it will!

Thank you, as well Ewood. I'll keep your post in my "helpful suggestions from AP" file!
