I have an account with yahoo and the past week I can't get in, I enter my password and hit enter then the same "put in your correct password comes up". I DID put in the right password, I have had the account for a few months now. I can't find anyway to contact yahoo and see what's up. HELP!!!! Thanks! Smile

Thanks methos, I tried it, the only problem is, the reason I went to yahoo for an e-mail is because Ameritech sucks and I can only get into my ameritech e-mail account 1 out of 20 tries and to get my password reaffirmed, they will mail it to my ameritech account, IF I CAN GET IN!!!!!! Oh brother!!! Smile

To stop this hassle why not use a free password manager such as A1 Roboform (all you do is enter your name and details once, and it prompts you when a form is to be filled or a password needed. All info is stored on your computer.
And it doesn't have Spyware Mad or Ad banners Mad attached Smile unlike Gator Frown Mad
Download from
http://www.roboform.com
File size is just over 1 Meg (Takes less than 5 mins to load)

Is there any chance that you're mistyping the username? The message says password, but it could be an incorrect username.

It could be a browser error. Sometimes things get corrupt in any browser and they send somewhat garbled http responses. This is expecially possible if there is any java related coding in the application that is being served.

So, if you're certain of the name and password, either yahoo has hosed your account - or the info is getting sent incorrectly. I'd suggest downloading a clean IE, or other browser, and trying it with a different browser.
