As I've said before POCOMAIL is a trial wich i didn't rlize. So So I found this little gem which is absolutely free. Foxmail will help U reduce all that spam from your mailbox. U can setup filters to put all your fiends in one mailbox and the rest automaticaly stays in the inbox for deletion. No more thumbin through hours of spam to find your friends. Just check your Email like pop3 for example and the rest automatcaly kicks in. No need to press any extra buttons. I installed it and it works on my XP-PRO machine.
Some mail programs use a white list so only certain emails can get through. This won't delete anything but rather just sort it. So U can still go back to the inbox just incase one slipped through. Or U can just read the filtered ones first and then later when u get time go back to the other ones and have a look. Either way a real time saver.

I don't much either at http://www.myrealbox.com. So that's half (The good service). And the other half is the gamble that NIS or whatever is deciding for U what is spam and what is not. So if a newsletter or something U really needed was determined as spam and it never reached U then tough luck. So a list is the only way to be sure. Plus not everybody can afford NIS or whatever. Foxmail is 100% free though.

Mozilla 1.4, Netscape 7.1 and Mozilla Thunderbird all have a built in spam filter. I haven't had a chance to test out their filtering prowess, but if you are a fan of the Mozilla/Netscape family, it's worth a look.
AOL users, if you've got broadband (it's a 50MB download) and 128MB of RAM, I suggest upgrading to the newly released AOL 9.0 It has a reasonably good spam filter, plus you can block messages containing specific keywords (like "viagra"). For more info, visit KW: Upgrade If you don't have 128MB of RAM, then you might want to consider AOL Communicator. If you like Outlook Express/Netscape Mail, you'll be right at home. The spam filter included with it is fantastic, plus you can manage multiple email accounts too. See KW: AOL Communicator
If you've got Opera 7, and don't care much for sending fancy email, then M2 is for you. Sending messages is limited to plain text, but you can view html in your incoming messages. It excells when it comes to managing mail from numerous contacts.
