This problem may have come up before here but it may bear repeating. My sister was telling me today that her computer will not open any links e-mailed to her. She has an HP laptop, an MS XP Home O/S, and MSN as her server. Any suggestions?

I've seen this happening on AOL and Gmail
Sometimes it works other times nothing yet on a different computer they are all working?
I'm running AOL 9 Broadband .Firewall is set at default no stops on AOL access
OS is XP pro, system is set to deflect spyware But all email is pre scanned for viruses Can understand if there was an alert the links were turned off but this has been happening for a long time

How about her email? Is she with Outlook Express?

Try going tools/options/security/then, uncheck the box that says "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"

Just a thought.
