Could you provide us with a little more information please. What e-mail program are you using (yahoo, aol, hotmail, etc) and are you sending these e-mails from a personal computer or from a work computer?

Outlook Express is your online mail box. What I was asking for was your e-mail service provider. It would be part of your e-mail address, i.e. janedoe@comcast.net. Comcast would be the provider.
Are you sending these e-mails to personal e-mail addresses or people's work e-mail addresses. If you send to a work e-mail address a lot of companies have protective fire walls that do not allow certain e-mails to be delivered. Or is it possible that the people you are sending these e-mails to have their e-mail settings to not accept e-mails from someone not in their address book - and they do not have your e-mail in their address book?

Is it only pictures you are not receiving or are there regular text e-mails you don't receive either?

Sorry for all the questions but the more information provided the easier it is to troubleshoot.

Hi Velma,

First off, please be advised that posting in all capitals is an internet no-no. it's considered to be the equivalent of shouting. If you're running any version of Windows from 95 through XP, you can even set up an audible warning when Caps/Num/Scroll Lock is toggled by going to the Accessibility options in the Control Panel (look for "Togglekeys").

On to your problem... My guess is that one of the security settings in Outlook Express (which overlap with those of Internet Explorer) is affecting your picture receiving capability. The simplest repair might be to open the Control Panel, select Internet Options and ensure your Internet security level is set to default.

Also, what you might try is accessing your email using your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, or one of the many others available) and right-clicking the image link. This should bring up a menu offering an option to save the image so you can download it to your computer.

For what it's worth, for security reasons, I only keep Outlook Express on my computer for reference when helping other users over the phone--I access all email via the web using Firefox. Any Internet Service Provider worth its salt will allow you web access to your email account. Give it a try.
