I'm afraid this question is gonna be without a lot of info. 1.) Un-installed W98 because of bug. 2.) Re-installed Win98. 3.) I get free AOL, but have InterNet Explorer, and yet use Yahoo as my main mail server. While playing around - Outlook Express popped up and I thought it would be a good idea to sorta have 'another' backup mail system, so I filled out a bunch of junk. {two days later} I put a picture in my scanner - which is set to send the picture to my default Yahoo mail system. It usually loads the mail compose page ready to be addressed to someone. But - NOoooo - I don't know where those pictures went. In one of the windows I see something that indicates that (maybe) Outlook Express is now my default picture/receiver/sender. [And I don't want that.] This may have nothing to do with my scanner NOT sending the pictures to Yahoo, but someone tell me how to get rid of Outlook Express - is there a big 'delete' button for it?

(1) Double-click My Computer, Control Panel, and Add/Remove Programs. If Microsoft Outlook Express is not listed, go to step 4.

(2) Double-click the entry and click Yes. Restart the computer when prompted.

(3) Double-click My Computer, Control Panel, and Add/Remove Programs.

(4) Click the Windows Setup tab. If the checkbox beside Outlook Express is selected, go to step 6.

(5) Click the checkbox beside Outlook Express to select it (confirm that you want to install the Address Book if prompted), then click Apply (you may be prompted for the Windows CD).

(6) Click the checkbox beside Outlook Express to clear it, then click Apply and OK.

Outlook Express is now uninstalled.
