I'm running Norton 2002 Anti virus. Its stopping me sending my emails by saying the connection to my server is interupted. There's nothing wrong with my server connection. I'm running XP. Can anyone help on this one???

Situation:
Norton AntiVirus 2002 (NAV) is installed, and Email Scanning is enabled. When you attempt to send email, you see the error message "Norton AntiVirus was unable to send your email message because the connection to your email server was interrupted."


Solution:
This problem was fixed by the latest program update. To install the update, run LiveUpdate, download the program update, and then restart the computer when prompted.

If I were You I would get rid of Norton Antivirus and buy PC Cillin 2002.
Norton is known to be very buggy and have not learned anything since I worked for them
PC Cillin gives You automatic daily updates and a terriffic firewall

I agree...I have had PC cillin for over two years and have been extremely happy and satisfied with their reaction time for updating things!

I love Norton System Works 2002! Not a 100% familiar yet but no problems! Windoctor keeps me on my toes! And Antivirus automatically pops up and scans for errors and viruses routinely!

Question...I have WinXP and Norton anti-virus. Does having Norton include a firewall, because I don't see it anywhere. But, Freedom tries to sell me a firewall. I'm a bit confused as to which has which.

I don't know about Norton Anti Virus having a firewall but Norton Internet Security does. Think it has everything! Love the program.
