I wasn't sure where to post such a question but decided here.

I play this PC game called The Sims. I am a house builder and a lot tester for one of the many fan sites out there. So, I get tons of email everyday.

I currently have AOL as my main email. I have 3 email addresses with AOL. One of which, is where all my tons of email from the sims site go to everyday. I would like to change that email to a different email.

What I mean is I want an email where I can do more. AOL isn't really set for HTML and all that. I do have a hotmail account which I use with incredimail. That is what I want to use, is incredimail.

However, hotmail does not have a very large storage capacity. I had 162 messages when I checked it this morning and it already said it was full. Whereas with AOL, I can receive upto 1,000 before it gets too full.

Anyone know of a free email that has quite abit of storage? I receive about 100 a day from the sims site alone. I don't always get to check it everyday so, it piles up. But I would welcome any suggestions, but preferably one that would work with incredimail.

I already have a Yahoo! account too and that only has 6mb of storage.

I hope this all makes sense to someone and thanks for any help you may have to offer! Smile

2MB is usually the capacity for most free emails, unless you're willing to put up with ads and spam. I'm not, so I really don't know who offers, what.

Freebies are quickly going the way of the dinosaur, at least when it comes to emails.

Someone else probably knows who may offer more, just make sure what there Privacy Policies are...and if you're willing to put up with ads/spam, etc. before signing up.

I suggest you sign up for a Hotpop or a MyRealBox account. Both offer 10mb of space and POP3 and SMTP access.
http://www.hotpop.com/accountlevels.jsp
http://www.myrealbox.com/

After signing up, add the account into Outlook Express. Click "Tools" > "Accounts". Click "Add" > "Mail". Follow the wizrad's instructions.

Now, find your newly added email account and click "Properties". Click the "Advanced" tab. Make sure "Leave a copy of messages on server" is UNCHECKED. Click OK.

You will now get more out of your 10MB allotment. Once Outlook Express connects to the mail server, it will download all of the messages to your hard drive and delete them from the server. Thus freeing up your 10MB every time you check your email.

I hope this was helpful. Wink

Another tip: Seems like you handle a lot of mail. You can filter your mail into folders, etc. by clicking "Tools" > "Message Rules" > "Mail..." So you can separate messages by sender, subject, etc.

JW's right. I use Myrealbox all the time for free with no adds. But for a few small adds in the E-Mail http://www.softhome.net gives 15BM for free.
