So Gmail Has not gone Fully open. Instead they have increased the Mailbox size
The message on the page says they are aiming towards a 2 Gig sized Mail box
I think they'll do it in stages?

I haven't checked my gmail in a long time. I just got your message from 12/03/04 for chat resizing. LOL! I have 1605 MB. Maybe you have more but are using some. If not then... I have more than you have! Mine says: You are currently using 0 MB (0%) of your 1605 MB. I do have 32 Spam! I have lots of messages and labels in there but it says that anyway.

My other gmail account says: You are currently using 0 MB (0%) of your 1608 MB. No spam in that one but a message from 10/04.

I have 5 invites on my first one and 6 on the other.

Their page says they turn 1 year old today. They are working on an Infinity+1 storage plan.

It's going up in little increments I'm currently on 1603MB. 2000 or 2048 MB by first thing tomorrow?

Got their sums wrong 2 GB is 2048 MB (Who's complaining?)

Methinks they are doing a sort of ongoing defrag on their servers and every spare byte is being passed onto the Gmailers
Suspect they are going to end up at a silly number? And almost every maintenance period in the next few months will see the number jerk upwards Let's see what transpires...
