Hi,
I have a home based business and would like to know how to utilize my outlook express 6.0 email program to send snail mail, but for some reason when i want to print out an email with stationary, the stationary does not print, only the text. Can someone tell me how to correct this? Much appreciative...

kiddlink, welcome to AnswerPool. I hope this will help:

Stationery in Outlook Express is made up of HTML pages (Web pages). To print them, you can open them in your Internet Explorer Web browser.

Then, in Internet Explorer:

1. Click the Tools menu, Options, and select the Advanced tab.

2. Scroll down to the "printing" category. Make sure the box for printing backgrounds is checked. Then click OK.

You will find your stationery at this location:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery

(You can copy/paste this address into the Internet Explorer address bar and click "Go").

Then open the HTML file that you're using for your stationery.

In order to print the message from Outlook Express, you will have to send the message to yourself. However, you may prefer to open the stationery page in Internet Explorer and print it out from there.

In order to type in text, you can click in the View menu / Source command. Type in the text you want to use, then save the file (use a different filename to avoid changing the original) and print it out.

You may find this easier by using an HTML editor program. Here you will find several to choose from.

I hope this helps!

Dwight
