AT&T by default blocks outgoing SMTP connections (port 25). This is to help cut down on spambots on the network. I recall you mentioning hostmonster before... in their case, they also offer secured (SSL) SMTP on port 465 - which would not be blocked. Since I haven't used Incredimail and can't find a decent guide, I sadly cannot give you a series of step by step instructions. Hope this was somewhat helpful. :/

What firewall are you using Catty? Sounds to me as though its set against you treats your application as a threat I have noticed since Chrome has been installed plus COMODO (Firewall)the Exceptions List on the Windows firewall has been Populated .Previously it was empty when I Had MacAfee Firewall The idea behind this list is "if its ticked its good to talk to the server" But untick an Item such as "File and Printer sharing" or "Remote Desktop" It will stop that working with an error message (Which will not refer to the Firewall blocking it here) And the Good thing is you can add to the list such as your email (You want an outgoing port# and the "In port" address# of the Incredimail server
