Hi Howard
Welcome to Answerpool. First off have you got an error code Number returned?
quote:
452: Rate limiting due to aberrantly high volume of incoming mail
455: Recipient's mailbox is full
550: Recipient is an invalid email address (user unknown)
551: Server or domain manually blocked
553: Server is an open relay
554: Server blocked due to spam complaints
555: Recipient's mailbox is full
556: Server is an open proxy

and the FAQ for Spam Prevention measures Page(which I think you have fallen foul of)is very user and Newbie unfriendly Mad and may need an extra pair of eyes to make sense of this muddle http://info.webtv.net/spam/

One of the Poorest Info pages I have seen in ages Frown

EDIT...I clean forgot what email service are you using ?

Cheers Howard

It does sound like My lomgstanding AOL issue where I get some if not all messages...Rest are Stopped by AOLs server and returned as a Bounce to the sender...But on the Internal mail aolmos everything gets through! Roll Eyes

Solution....Get another email address for you friends to send their message to, which is not tied to an Internet provider...The best 2 I can recommend are Yahoo Mail http://mail.yahoo.com/ and Gmail http://mail.google.com
Gmaill Is the better of the 2 because it keeps a record of the mail for a month in trash
if you deleted it by accident...and It can also be configured to grab mail from other email accounts you have ...New ideas come up quite often
and it has a Mail box which is almost 3 GB (and growing daily)
I have almost all my Forum notification going to Gmail and they all get there previously they where getting bounced off my AOL account for no reason.
So To get this go here first to get a screenname ...gets you into lots of Closed ares of Google as well www.google.com/accounts/
