Because Yahoo is a free service, you have fewer contact choices. I believe those contacts are your only options...at least I could not find any telephone numbers.

You do know that you can setup another new free Yahoo email account and log onto their help that way. Just go to http://mail.yahoo.com and then sign up with a different username. To keep it simple you might use a name similar to your earlier one, with just a single letter variance.

Also, you can purchase the Yahoo retail *POP mail and then get access to their paid subscribers assistance. and I ain't buying the "chicks dig me" claim, either.

* means Post Office Protocol, the type of email that can be used with email client programs like Outlook Express. With this setup you have the advantage to local (meaning on your system) help.

Dan, I gave you a fax number that is a good number - that's as close to instant contact you will get. Oh, and that e-mail address reaches someone and they respond. As for a direct number, you won't find one on the internet. There are many listed for customer service but they are not valid.

However I have some work contacts at Yahoo and when I get into the office Mon I can check to see if I have any numbers for them. If so I will e-mail you with that information.

Just realized the only address I have for you is the yahoo one so if I had any info to send you you wouldn't be able to access that email anyway.

So what happened? Did you try to log into your account and get a message that your password was invalid? Is your profile still online and does it look like it has been tampered with? This happened to me not to long ago and when I tried to request a new password by supplying necessary info, I got an error that my personal info did not match up with what Yahoo had in their system. When my account was hacked, my personal info was changed and after supplying Yahoo with a copy of my driver's license and getting my account back I saw what had been changed by the hackers. Don't know if your situation is the same but...worth a try....when you supply your ZIP code for verification you also have to select your country. Mine had been changed to Afghanistan by the hackers. So try to get a new password and then select Afghanistan as your country. Might work.

Here is a LINK to Yahoo's help centre. Choose the "Where did my personal account go?", then if not satisfied, click on the "No" button towards the bottom of your screen, then fill out all the necessary information with a working email address so that they can reply to your request.
