By "repeats" do you mean you repeatedly see the same message downloaded every time you check your email?

If that is the case, open Outlook Express, and click "Tools" then Accounts. Select the "Mail" tab, then select your email account.

Click "Properties", then click the "Advanced" tab. Uncheck the option "Leave a copy of messages on server".

OK the window and click the "Close" button.

If by "repeats" you mean you receive duplicate messages (two of everything), please see this page for information about correcting this problem.

I don't get the duplicates at the same time, an email will come in and then a few minutes later it comes in again, the leave copy on server is unchecked.
Thanks Confused

From what you're describing, it sounds like the Outlook Express program is not completing the mail download. The final step is to clean off messages it has downloaded from the server, and it seems that step is not being completed before the download step stops.

This could be a fault with your Internet Service Provider (ISP). If your ISP provides technical support, you might try giving them a call and describing the problem you're having. They may be able to provide step-by-step assistance over the telephone.

You can usually find the phone number on the ISP's Web site under the "Contact" link. Generally this technical support is provided free of charge to subscribers.

Also, you can try following the procedure outlined here.

Or reinstalling the Outlook Express program.

I hope something here helps!
