Some times I get E's that I have to scroll sideways to read some of the junk over at the right. In my mail options/general perferences my incoming and out-going width is set to the default. I told my red-neck cousin in SLC, Utah to go into his machine (WebTV) and check his setting. He says he receive E's at the proper width to fit his screen, I try to tell him that he's receiving mine which are correct and I'm receiving his which are incorrect, but you know how red-necks are. SO, is there some reason I'm getting his E's that are two screens wide?

I can tell you the answer in 2 words
WORD WRAP
I assume from your profile that you use Yahoo
There is no word wrap on Yahoo
But you can do a tweak in the Email Preferences for a similar effect
Look above the Email box for the "Mail" button there is a tiny arrow to the right(hidden button) press this then "Options" on the menu...
on the next Window select "General Preferences" OK?
Big list appears...Scroll down till you see Group of boxes with the Heading "Messages"
will look like this:
Screen Width:
(viewing plain text mail) characters (range: 50 - 99 chars.)
This is the maximum line length of your incoming messages.
The default value is 72.

What is the number in this box? Mine is 80 original setting was 72
this means the maximum characters displayed on a line is 80 before it makes a "New" line

Ok? in the box beneath you can specify your line length for you to write emails the setting I have here is 55 which is the default setting

If your settings in either box is above 80 then your emails will go scrolling off the screen (As you have seen) play around with the numbers until the "Scroll bars" do not appear and all the message fits into the mail box
To save the setting the "Save" button is in the bottom Left hand corner of the Window
Ps : set both boxes @55 characters and work your way upward till you get to "default" saving each time see what happens?

For what its worth, I have had this problem for as long as I have been on the computer, since 1985.

The only thing I have been able to do to be able to view it is to schroll like you do.

In order for me to print all the information on the screen I have to print it in the Lanscape Mode.

You will find a tab at the top of your Print setup page that reads 'Properties'.

Left Click the 'Properties' tab. This will bring you up to a second page where you will see
the 'Features' tab. Left click the Feature tab. This will bring you up to a page where you left click the 'Lanscape' circle.

When you do this you will be able to print the whole page.

However, the page print will be on the 11-inch dimension rather than the 8 1/2-inch dimention.

Maybe some one else has a better answer to this question, however, I have never seen one to date.
