Before today, our windows Outlook Express had only sagus' and my email IDs.

Now, today (probably because of Dustin messing with the computer) a "new" ID has been added to the opening screen (Identity Login) of OE.

The third ID listed is "Main Identity" which it isn't and I can't figure out how it would have been named that unless a new added ID is defaulted to that name anyway.

So, anyway, I tried to Manage the Identities (one of the options listed on that Identity Login box), and delete the "Main Identity".

(The three names listed are:
Sherasi
Sagus
Main Identity)

I even ignore the warning of "Are you SURE you wanna do this yada yada yada" and say YES I DO want to do this, and it doesn't work.

Then I try to open the "Main Identity" email in that Login screen and get this message:

"The Current identity could not be changed because one of the applications was unable to switch.
Close any open dialog boxes in other applications before trying again."

So, how do I get rid of this unasked for "Main Identity" name/account/email doo-hickey?

I haven't tried to Log Off this "Main Identity" (one of the option buttons of the Login screen) because I am rather afraid to choose that option without knowing what it will do.

I did try to see what the properties were of this ID, but nothing shows up.

Are you using differemt logins for each person? I mean, when you start your computer, do you log into separate accounts?

I turn on the computer and the desktop that opens is the same for everyone... I don't log off ever, I just turn it on and off.

Instead of trying to delete "Main Identity", set yor preference and see if that resolves the problem. Set either Sagus or Sherasi as the identity when starting a program.
