I have Incredimail also; what seems suspicious? I read the TOS & Privacy Policies B-4 I installed it & found nothing to worry about.
Unfortunately, I rarely use mine to send email because no one I correspond with has it. If I send them email via Incredimail, they get plain text with a bunch of graphic attachments (the background, animations, etc.).
Let me know, sonnet26

I tried it for a few days, but all the neat features it has wasn't worth the trouble it caused. It took forever for any page to load, and frequently the computer froze altogether. My wife had the same problem too (every time I have a problem with the computer freezing, she keeps telling me it works fine for her ), so it must have been bad. Finally, she unistalled it (and she had to look in that stupid duck's sad eyes as it waved goodbye), and we have had no problems since. It was a good idea but not worth the aggravation.

I had the same problems when I installed it on Win98 with a 4Gig H/D & a small/slow (400Mhz) processor - I had to uninstall it. Now that I've got a 20Gig H/D, 1Ghz processor, 256K RAM & all the other bells & whistles I don't have a problem.
My only regret is no one else has it so I can make use of it. Depending on when you had it installed, they had a few bugs (between 11/2001 & 01/2002) that have since been fixed.

Since I don't have incredimail, I find that when I want to forward an email from someone who DOES have it, it's more time consuming to clean it up prior to sending. Deleting the flashing envelope, and all the other things!
If you get incredimail.....and don't like it - is there any problems at all to get back all of your outlook express settings?

Why are you cleaning up the emails you forward? If you forward them as is, they'll most likely arrive as regular text with graphic attachments for the background, animations, etc. to those people whose email programs can't read the fancy graphics. The attachments aren't usually that large & shouldn't be a problem.
I, personally, NEVER forward personal emails. I copy and paste the info into a new email to break the "chain" started in the original - it's more difficult for hackers to track. I also NEVER put more than 1 address in the "To" section; if I want to email more than one person, I put everyone else in the "Bcc" section to protect their privacy. Each person receiving the email only sees their own name.
Incredimail doesn't touch your OE program - you'll still receive email there also. The only caveat, & they may have fixed the bugs, is to make sure your system is up to snuff. Too little RAM, processor speed, and H/D space might be a problem.
I really like Incredimail; I wish more people had it.

It was just a few weeks ago when we tried it. I have a 30GB hard drive, 750 MHz processor, and 64 MB memory, and Windows ME. It worked for a while, and the more we used it, the worse it got. There were no privacy issues I found with it, however. It just didn't work on our computer is all

All of you guys think Incredimail lags you down, but I kind of agree with that, but the good think is that webmail can see the graphics I put on too. I have been using Incredimail for over a year now and I still love it. Speed is not a proble for me. I am using a 450mhz Windows ME computer. Incredimail is just a bit slower. If I think I can only choose one good thing between appearance and speed, I will choose appearance. Many of my friends who are using webmail can see my e-mail perfectly fine except the background, which is ok for me too.
Not a year ago, Tree. Bazcaz, how come the links you had there are all the negative ones, but it's only 4% of all the download people. Also, this version in the download.com website is really old already: IncrediMail Xe build 934. The newest version is now build 1184.

It was only a thread I found on the Net...at that site if you look you can select Positive or Negative opinons....just the messenger me. LOL
I have Incredimail and I think it is a decent email program. It is especially nice for those who want flashy, expressive emails. However, it is not good for those who have a slow processor, low RAM, or a slower-than-56k-connection.

I've been using Incredimail for several months and have had no problems and all my friends love and are now using it also. The only person who can't recieve my emails has webtv, everyone else gets it fine.
