I like this Idea I saw in the Google Gmail Conditions of service they have highlighted any amendments in Green http://gmail.google.com/gmail/help/program_policies_redline.html

By the way, they have a direct email address posted prominently on that page if you have any questions? privacymatters@google.com (which is a nice touch)
As Regards the Rules: They look fair with plenty of plain warnings against would be wrongdoers.
Ps The A/c is closed if not accessed for 9 months better than some of its rivals. I think the deletion point is only 3 months on Lycos?(lose General access too)
Anybody know the a/c "time out" deletion point on other sites (if they are in force?)

The deletion point for hotmail is 30 days. You can reinstate it though.

I had a Yahoo account go under, it said
the account was invalid because it had
45 days of inactivity. To me, that is
pretty darned short amount of time.

My Yahoo Mail collects spam Mad I think the best insurance is to visit the mailbox every other week and delete it thus keeping it "Live"
Ps I have been using this A/C about 2-3 years? The original A/C went down due to a corrupt cookie (I think?) Frown
PPS The mailbox size increased to 100MB the other week Cool

I don't receive much spam in my yahoo account. The few I do get are sent directly to the bulk folder.

Bedstor,

It took me a minute to figure out what A/C was. LOL

I get NO spam in my Yahoo mail, and
nothing in the bulkmail, but it is
an addy that a couple friends have,
so I have to remember to check it so
I do not lose it. I have not checked
into g-mail as so far my MSN account
has worked just fine for me.
