17 oz. pkg. devils food cake mix 4 eggs 1 c. sour cream 3/4 c. water 1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding 1 pkg. chocolate chips
FILLING:
1/4 lb. butter 1/2 c. Crisco 1 c. sugar 5 1/3 oz. Pet milk 2 tsp. vanilla
ICING:
1/4 lb. butter 1/3 c. milk 1/4 c. brown sugar 6 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa Dash of salt 1 lb. confectioners' sugar
Cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend all cake ingredients in large bowl and mix thoroughly with electric mixer for 4 minutes. Stir in chocolate chips with wooden spoon. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Filling: Beat the filling ingredients for 30 minutes without stopping. Put filling in pastry tube poke into cooled cupcakes and squeeze tube until cupcakes are full.
Icing: Melt butter and milk over medium heat, stir in brown sugar, salt and cocoa. Bring to a boil then remove from heat and beat in confectioners' sugar.
