I was wondering if any one had any details on this experiment and how it worked?

His experiments weren't actually with 'light' waves, not visible light anyway. He proposed, and some feel he succeeded, to transmit power using radio, or microwaves. Here a couple sites.

That's the problem kainchild. No one knows how it might have worked. If Tesla really was successful at this he must have taken his details to the grave with him.
