Hi there qbit
Glad to note that you have simmered down abit now
and
are continuing in quite positive notes
Umn
thnx for commending on the emoticons I (like to) use. Well, that I am able to add through the MYSMILLIES link given below.
Anyhow.
Coming to your query.
Here GOes:
Aaaaaaah, let me start by explaining what happens when someone rings our mobile.
By dialing our number (analogue or digital instruction) they are
sending a signal to the mobile. There is this whole procedure of conversions of the signal (from analogue to electrical to blah blah blah). Then the mobile device receives this signal (or, picks up this signal) and creates or results in a sound wave. This is the ringing of the bell_ a way to tell us mortals that someone is trying to reach us!
Umn, now why don't you try and imagine/visualise what the sound wave would be like. A round, spiralling, expanding thingee. (Most probably the original signals received by the mobile_invisible to the naked eye_have a wave such as this too. I admit I have no idea of the technicalities as yet)
This then interferres with any other objects (umn, well it could be almost anything) which have
function
which tells them to receive signals.(Umn, using the TV example again. How do we see the picture on the screen? It is infinite signals sent via the satellite which results in what we see) That particular object[s] too respond to the signal
and thus
there is this disturbance , cutting off sort of,
which you are talking about.

Hope I tried well enough,
