Have all the newfangled bombs which have been dropped on such countries as Afghanistan and Iraq and now Lebanon increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the air, thereby being a factor in recent global warming? If so, are they worse than car exhaust emissions?

Do bombs produce CO2? Yes.

Is the amount significant enough to have an effect? I highly doubt it.

yes..they have had an effect but very small.
As they're organic materials that burn. They generater C02,Water,N2,NOx,CO etc.

The amount of CO2 that comes from the bomb is very small compared to the jet fuel it took to get the bomb delivered.. the fuel needed to make the metal. etc..

We emit tons and tons more with daily activity like driving and typing on PC's powered by coal fired generaters etc.

Well, the generators are on the blink a bit here in NY and not doing much for my ability to participate more here or to surf elsewhere these days. At least, I avoided the subways, also on the blink.

Yeah I heard you guys in Queens are suffering. This why people need to buy generators for their homes. It's nice to be on the other end of the island where the electricity is still running :-). But I think what happening in Queens is affecting the internet here.
