Northern growers of hardy hibiscus - Don't be in a hurry to pull up your hibiscus and discard them as I almost did because they weren't coming up yet. They take a long time to break dormancy I found out, so just be patient and your plant will come back eventually. I have two hardy hibiscus that I bought last year, and I expect a good show this year. Just thought I'd drop this little tidbit of information for those that don't know their growing habits.
