I have no clue when it comes to plants and flowers. This is only the second time I have grown flowers. The first year I grew only annuals. This year I have planted annuals and perenials. I am just curious as to whether my lillies will live or dies. I am growing them in pots and plan to put them into my garage come winter. Will this work?? N2
you can leave them in the pot as long as you want. But they would be healthier in the ground soil than the pot. Gives them more room to grow. If you have limited space, then a pot would proably be best. But if you have lots of yard space, then it would be better for them there.

Holy smokes that was a quick reply. I have lots of space but my hubby just spent a load of money puting in under ground sprinkler and turf. I would be dead if I starting ripping it up.. So the pots are what I am stuck with at least for now. Maybe next year I can talk him into it or at least buy the big huge ceramic pots. Thanks for such a quick reply. N2
