Each summer my tomato plants leaves begin to yellow and die. What causes this? I've tried
fertilizers and disease treatments but it still
happens. Also I get black spots on leaves.

Russ - Welcome to Answer Pool! Smile

This site discusses care of tomato plants and spots on them.

As does this site (about ½ way down the page).

And this site has a lot of good info and suggestions.

Hope this helps - good luck!

Hi Russ! Smile

It sounds like your tomato plants might be suffering from wilt, that orignates in the soil.

Check out the following link,
